ACIS Modeling Operations Lab

The ACIS Modeling Operations Lab allows you to interactively work the ACIS Modeling kernel from within the browser (IE 7.0). Load any part from the server or upload a SAT file of your own. You can select any the modeling operators located along the bottom menu bar. Once you've activated a model operator you can select faces or edges and any optional parameters, such as fillet radius or offset distance as appropiate. You may select faces by individual mouse selection or use either of the three modes of feature selection, fillet chain, boss or hole. (Feature selection is available through a double click on a selected face.) Once the faces or edges are selected, hit "GO" to perform the modeling operation.

Current Operators:

  • Edge Filleting: Fillets a selection of edges based on a given radius.
  • Remove Face: Removes faces from the body closing the gap by exetending the neighboring faces
  • Face Offset: Offsets a selection of faces based on a given offset distance.

ACIS Multi-Processing Lab

The ACIS Multi-Processing Lab allows you to compute a multiple-plane slicing operation concurrently on a core of processors. Load a model from the server and select the amount of planes you would like to slice. Than select the number of processors you would like to run concurrently (up to 8) and hit "GO". Timing information is provided in the information box on the lower right.

ACIS Precise Hidden Line Lab

The ACIS Precise Hidden Line Lab shows the  precise hidden line capabilities of the ACIS Modeling kernel. Load any part from the server and rotate manually to the view desired. Once rotated, hit "GO".

ACIS Scheme Web Toolkit

The ACIS Scheme Web Toolkit provides an on-line interface to the ACIS Scheme application. Included is a command line window allowing you to work with ACIS from the Scheme interface. From here you can investigate and work with the scheme examples from the ACIS User Documentation.

CGM Modeling Operations Lab

The CGM Modeling Operations Lab allows you to interactively work the CGM Modeling kernel from within the browser (IE 7.0/8.0). Load any part from the server or upload a CGM file of your own. You can select any the modeling operators located along the bottom menu bar. Once you've activated a model operator you can select faces or edges and any optional parameters, such as fillet radius or offset distance as appropiate. Once the faces or edges are selected, hit "GO" to perform the modeling operation.

Current Operators:

  • Edge Filleting: Fillets a selection of edges based on a given radius.
  • Remove Face: Removes faces from the body closing the gap by extending the neighboring faces
  • Face Offset: Offsets a selection of faces based on a given offset distance.

ACIS Brep Health Lab

The ACIS Brep Health Lab allows you to interactively evaluate the health of a Brep Model to measure its efficacy for downstream modeling operations.
